🌟 Must-See Premieres
Dexter: Resurrection (Paramount+) – July 11
Guess who’s not dead after all? Dexter Morgan wakes up from a coma and immediately goes hunting for his missing son in New York City. The Dark Passenger is back, and old enemies aren’t far behind. Michael C. Hall, Jack Alcott, Peter Dinklage, and Uma Thurman headline. Clyde Phillips returns as showrunner, so expect those classic twists and a whole new mess.
Too Much (Netflix) – July 10
Breakup, hop across the Atlantic, repeat. Lena Dunham’s rom-com puts comedian Megan Stalter front and center as Jessica, a New Yorker nursing a bruised heart in London. Enter Will Sharpe as Felix—suddenly life’s a whirlwind of culture clashes and questionable choices. Rita Wilson and Stephen Fry show up to keep things weird. Ten episodes, loads of charm, and Lena Dunham’s signature honesty about love and chaos.
Untamed (Netflix) – July 17
Take a walk on the wild side—literally. Eric Bana stars as a special agent for the National Park Service, facing secrets and suspects in the depths of Yosemite. When a grisly murder upends the park, Bana’s character must solve the case before nature (or a killer) strikes again. Written by Mark L. Smith, and featuring Sam Neill and Rosemarie DeWitt, this one’s as moody as a thunderstorm in the woods.
Back to the Frontier (Magnolia/Max) – July 10
Trade your smartphone for a washboard. Three modern families ditch all the comforts of 2025 to live like it’s 1885. No running water, no Instacart—just grit, chores, and the occasional cow. The Gaineses are executive producers, so expect lots of heart and maybe a few minor disasters. It’s survival reality TV, but wholesome.
Kings Court (Bravo/Peacock) – July 13
Looking for love in a palace (or at least a fancy tropical resort)? This spin-off flips the dating-show script: three famous men—including Tyson Beckford and Carlos Boozer—search for their queens among 21 contestants. There’s drama, games, and a side of romance, all hosted by Holly Robinson Peete and her husband Rodney. Pure summer fun.
The Wild Ones (Apple TV+) – July 11
Time to save the planet (again). This action-packed docuseries follows a trio of wildlife experts on globe-trotting missions to help endangered species. From the jungles of Malaysia to the Gobi Desert, they chase creatures most of us have only seen in storybooks. The adventure, the danger, the conservation—there’s something here for every animal lover.
🔁 Returning Legends
The Sandman – Season 2 (Netflix) – July 3 (Vol. 1), July 24 (Vol. 2)
Neil Gaiman’s epic fantasy heads toward its finale, split into two volumes this month. Dream’s family reunion turns explosive. Plus, Kirby Howell-Baptiste is back as Death, so you know it’s good.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia – Season 17 (FXX) – July 9
The gang gets older but never wiser. This season opens with a wild crossover event: the crew is court-ordered to volunteer at Abbott Elementary. Somehow, they keep raising the bar (and the stakes).
South Park – Season 27 (Comedy Central) – July 9
Another year, another batch of ridiculousness from Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Cartman and company take aim at, well, everything. Nothing’s safe, not even your group chat. Expect headline-grabbing satire, last-minute plot twists, and jokes your grandma won’t understand (or approve of).
Foundation – Season 3 (Apple TV+) – July 11
Take a giant leap into the future. This season jumps 152 years ahead, with the Foundation and Empire in uneasy alliance. Lee Pace and Jared Harris return for more power plays, time-bending drama, and philosophical face-offs. Space battles, secret societies, and dazzling visuals? All present and accounted for.

Star Trek’s most adventurous crew is back. Pike, Spock, and Number One launch into new worlds and dilemmas, boldly mixing classic sci-fi fun with modern flair. The two-episode premiere guarantees twice the excitement right out of the gate. Even if you’re not a Trekkie, it’s hard to resist.
The Summer I Turned Pretty – Season 3 (Prime Video) – July 16
Break out the tissues. Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah return for the final act of Jenny Han’s love triangle saga. College drama, big decisions, and a possible wedding are all on the horizon. Eleven episodes mean extra time to savor every messy, heartfelt moment at Cousins Beach.
Twisted Metal – Season 2 (Peacock) – July 31
Buckle up. The post-apocalyptic car combat returns with Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, and everyone’s favorite homicidal clown, Sweet Tooth. Season 2 promises even bigger explosions, crazier rivalries, and more laugh-out-loud chaos. Road trip, anyone?
Big Brother – Season 27 (CBS) – July 10
The ultimate reality show returns. New houseguests, new twists, and more alliance drama than ever. Julie Chen Moonves is still at the helm. Whether you watch for the backstabbing or the weird challenges, summer wouldn’t be the same without BB.
